X'mas dinner with the family.

For the first year itself celebrated my X'mas with my family, usually for the past few years you know youngsters like us used to party like nobody business during this special occasion. So this year I want my X'mas to be special so me and my sister planned to have dinner with the family at home because we had already expected restaurants outside are going to be fully booked might as well stay comfy to have dinner at home. Of course I also invited my boyf's familly to join us for dinner too. Well, we ordered 4 kg's turkey from Kenny Rogers because I saw from their flyer they are having this kind of X'mas promotion - Buy 1 turkey weight 4 kgs with 6  muffins & 6 side dishes. People always say homemade turkey is the best, I don't want to ruin everyone appetite on that night so I might as well reserve one from Kenny Rogers. 

Dressed up nicely . I felt kinda weird very slightly nicer than the other days at home, you know usually I will have this aunty hair & some over size old t shirt walking around. You will really think that I'm some kind of maid in the house -.-

I knew that we all couldn't finish the 4 kgs turkey, but still ..my boyf's dad bought some food over to our house. My god! But it was so nice of him .

 Food oh food ! So many food ! In the end , we didn't manage to finish it all , too much for all of us !

Turkey babeh ! Having turkey is not having chicken. I had two slices of turkey meat I was already half full, because the whole turkey was mainly breast , so it filled our stomach fast . Of course the protein value is more than chicken too ! That's why so many dieters prefer to have turkey meat more than chicken meat, now I know. Hhhhmmm ....

 Boyf bought a bottle of champagne. I know we supposed to have red wine to match with the turkey, but nahhh ... I missed champagne more than any alcohol . I actually popped the champagne at home ! :D

If you wanna ask how's my x'mas , I would say great ! The food was great , the bonding time was even great ! A total different experience with my family. Celebrating in club during X'mas for almost every year is actually kinda boring thou . Before that , I was skeptical about the turkey that I ordered from Kenny Rogers because all these while Kenny Rogers is famous of their roast chicken but not turkey, but eventually they didn't disappoint me. It taste really good thou, but only one thing , the turkey they served didn't have any filling like the homemade ones . Maybe I should learn how make some homemade turkey for thanksgiving or x'mas in this coming year end , haha .
